Meet Your 2009-2010 Ambassadors
The College of Liberal Arts Student Ambassadors ‘tell their stories’ to prospective students and their parents in a variety of on- and off-campus recruiting events. They strive to present the ‘student face’ of the college and share their knowledge and love of their academic and extracurricular interests at Oregon State University.
Vanessa Baez is from Hillsboro, Oregon. Her major is Spanish, with minors in Business Administration and Speech Communication. She is currently a senior and has ambitions to travel to every continent and to succeed in life. Her favorite books are Ella Enchanted and Breaking Dawn.
Heather Bryan is from Keizer, Oregon. Her majors are History and Education with a minor in Spanish. She loves spending time with her family and her dog, and is an avid fan of Twilight and Harry Potter.
Jacob Curtis is from the big island of Hawaii. His major is New Media Communications . He is very involved in Greek life, KBVR, is a START leader, and works at the MU bowling alley.
Katie Hanna is from Portland, Oregon. Her major is Psychology with a minor in Speech Communication. After graduating from OSU, she plans on becoming a clinical psychologist. Football season is her favorite time of year, and you can always spot Katie wearing her sunglasses--even when it rains!
April Haydon is from Jackson, Wyoming. She is a double-major in Spanish and Education. She is currently a senior and has enjoyed the abundance of opportunites that OSU has to offer.
Justin Molter is a New Media Communications major, and recently became a START leader. He works for KBVR.
Kelsey Shields proudly hails from Portland, Oregon, and is a recent convert into the College of Liberal Arts. She is a junior majoring in History. Her favorite book is any historical fiction written about the Tudors by Philippa Gregory.
Candace Sneberger is from Stayton, Oregon. She is a junior majoring in English. Candace lived in the Dixon Lodge Co-op last year and loved participating in all of the events there, but has now moved into an apartment off-campus. Her favorite books are the Harry Potter series.
